Today. Abbie explores the importance of learning to meta-communicate in our relationships. Abbie discusses three key elements of the Coordinated Management of Meaning (CMM) theory that can guide us in our interactions-- Coherence (the process of making meaning through storytelling), Coordination (the process of collaborating with others to create better social worlds), and Mystery (the process of embracing the unknown and uncontrollable). Finally, Abbie emphasizes that there is no "right" or "wrong" way to make meaning, communicate, or interact with others, as long as we are seeking to do our best.
