The U.S. Department of Labor stated back in 2021, millions of workers voluntarily left their jobs. And no, it wasn’t because they didn’t like their job; it was something else entirely.
At some point in your business growth, you will need help. When you hire someone, they’ll be part of your team, but in order for your team to thrive, you must have trust in the workplace.
To build trust, you must realize that not everyone is the same. In order for your business to thrive, there’s a need for building trust with your team members.
You may be in the stage of your business where you don’t have a team behind you, but think of it like this: everyone you work with I.E. your partner, future clients and your potential team, are in fact your team. You’re creating relationships with these individuals and it’s an ongoing process.
While you’re working towards building your team, create an environment that they feel they can come to you no matter what. Make everyone feel valued and supported.
