Sometimes you gotta fight for your right to party!

One of the most overlooked aspects of entrepreneurship is the importance of celebrating your successes. As entrepreneurs, we are constantly pushing ourselves to achieve our goals, and we often forget to take a moment to celebrate our hard work and successes.

I remember the very first time I closed over a million dollars in sales from the stage and  I celebrated for literally only three minutes and went straight back to work.

Hustle culture, am I right?

I’ve now realized that some entrepreneurs aren’t celebrating enough. We're always racing to the top that we forget to smell the roses and enjoy the fruits of our labor.

It’s important to slow down.

But, as young bosses, we’re always focused on what’s next, crushing KPIs and crossing off our to-do lists. We never take a moment to just say, "Wow, we did it."

There’s something to be said about living in the present moment. You work so incredibly hard, you must remember that you deserve to chill and pop a bottle when you accomplish things!

Your celebration doesn't have to be as far-reaching as Shaquille O'Neal winning the Triple Crown and spraying champagne everywhere (but really, how epic?).

It could be drinking wine and eating meatballs in your backyard. How you celebrate is up to you, and it’s of most importance to do it your way.

This is a vital part of your professional development and growth, your mental health and well-being as a young boss.

Don’t skim over your accomplishments, each milestone is meaningful. If you need someone to celebrate with, holler at your girl.
