In the heart of the Welsh Valleys, New Tredegar it was 2009, and Hayley had four children, a home she barely managed to keep afloat, and a husband whose face had become a stranger to her. Life in New Tredegar was hard, but it had always been hard. Hayley was 16 when she first felt the heavy weight of motherhood. And by 20, she was already mother to four children, one after the other.

By the time she was 22, she was trapped. She hadn’t had the time to figure out who she was. That is until she starts to realize that she is in a loveless, abusive relationship. She meets new friends on Facebook and gains the courage to escape the hell she is living in with Brian. When Brian notices that Hayley has taken her life back he will stop at nothing to make sure he doesn’t lose his control over her.
