Description

God is the author of life and on many occasions caused the death of those He thought deserved it. The Bible is full of stories of God’s people killing their enemies. As we remember those who sacrificed their lives to protect or rescue others this Memorial Day weekend, this a good time to look at the 6th Commandment, “You shall not murder” found in Exodus 20:13. We are going to look at what the Bible reveals about God’s Design for Life and Death. Was Jesus a pacifist? When is it permissable to take someones life? How can love overpower the anger and hate that leads to murder? How can we experience eternal life?
