Description

The Second of the Ten Commandments is: “No Idols” and is found in Exodus 20:4-6. God has revealed in His Holy Word that He will not tolerate idols in our lives. While you may not be bowing before a shrine filled with figurines or images of false gods/idols, it is possible that something like sports, people’s approval, certain possessions, personal appearance or other things could be your idol. The problem with idols is they distance you from experiencing God, distract you from serving God and keep you from delighting in the God. Pastor Chris Teien shares Scriptures and examples on how you can be sure to worship God exclusively and not let idols get the the way. You will always come out ahead when you put God first.

NOTES: “The Problem with Idols”
