I'm super excited to introduce Megan Townsend, a fellow late-diagnosed autistic adult and licensed social worker. We dive into a raw, real conversation about the unique challenges Black women face in getting diagnosed with autism, the misconceptions, and the frustratingly slow progress towards better understanding. This chat is about breaking stereotypes, the struggles with being a parent to autistic kids, and how to cope when support systems fail to meet our needs.
