In the mid 1800's, much of the area around Beaumont could still be considered a frontier. In today's episode we visit with Mrs. Karli Stansbury from the John J. French Museum. She shares with us the story of Beaumont at during that time through the life of one of its original settlers and the trials they endured, the determination it took to prosper, and their beliefs in Spiritualism that still echo through the home today.
Karli is joined by a very special guest to talk about her experience as a neighbor of the museum and living on land formerly owned by the French family.
