Thank you for your goodness.
Please help us to stop and think and to be thankful for all of your goodness, for all that you have saved us from,
for so many blessings,
and, Jesus, for all of the relationships that we cannot force and we cannot change. Help us to change our relationship with you, and by changing that relationship, you do change our world. You change how we relate to the world and to everyone around us.
Please be the light in our universe.
Please be the way, the truth and the life for each one of us.
Remind us that we are sons and daughters of the Most High God
, that we are your children, your beloved.
Thank you for coming to bad places with bad people to go out of your way to save them.
Please correct more of my wrong ideas about you, even my labeling of bad people.
Thank you for coming to save the lost, to heal them, to teach them, to restore them, renew them.
Please strengthen us today against whatever daily diminishments may come. Please help us to retain our trust in you.
Help me to let down my guard and to stop trying to keep you at a safe distance and mostly living my life doing what I want to do with simply hoping it doesn't upset you too much. Help me to follow you more closely. Love you more dearly. Help us to love one another, Jesus. Thank you In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
