Good morning family, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen.
I think that you're afraid to look in my eyes.

I follow you around but you can't see.

Jesus, I thank you for opening my heart to you.
I thank you to find once again that you have been singing to me my whole life long, and I didn't know it or recognize it at the time.
And today, Jesus, I pray for Madonna, someone who I am more than tempted to look down on. But I'm reminded that you came to call sinners like her and like me.
So I pray in a special way for people who will not pray for themselves, for anyone who cannot pray for themselves, for anyone who does not have anyone to pray for them.

Temptations to irrational exuberance
, a temptation to stoicism and living under a rock and eating crackers.
A temptation to keep certain people far, far away from me.
A temptation to turn off my brain and not set healthy boundaries with people and become a doormat.
A temptation to wait for opportunities to pounce on people and thump them with the Bible.
Jesus, please help all of us to learn how to truly love one another, as you have loved us. Jesus,

and our broken relationships with ourselves.
