Description

In this episode, Jummie talks to Mark Goulston about how people are feeling post the pandemic. Mark believes most people feel a sense of "blah," or as the term Adam Grant from the New York Times used in his article on post-pandemic blues, languishing, which means to feel joyless and aimless. Mark breaks down why we're feeling this way (in short, we're adrenaline junkies).

He also talks about the four feelings we all tend to operate from and why we need to put words to the other feelings and emotions we feel. They discuss social media and how it hinders our ability to connect with others and ourselves. They get into the stigma of expressing one's struggle with mental health and ways to recover if you've hit a really low point. And much more.
