We're rewinding back to the January 2020 Sundance Film Festival chatting with the director of We Are Freestyle Love Supreme, Andrew Fried. The film is a time capsule featuring the FLS members in the summer of 2005 making their debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Andrew followed the group who comprised of Lin-Manuel Miranda, Thomas Kail, Christopher Jackson, Anthony Veneziale, Bill Sherman, Chris Sullivan, Arthur Lewis and the other members up to the one month run in a small Manhattan theatre in early 2019. Before In the Heights and Hamilton, there was Freestyle Love Supreme
