Craig McGill has over 30 years of experience with video and film production. He is recognized as an outstanding camera operator, producer, and director.
In 1987, Mr. McGill received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communications from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia.
During his career, Craig has provided production support as a standout camera operator for numerous networks including HBO, NBA, MLB, NFL, ABC, Al Jazeera America, BET, Bloomberg TV, Bristol Meyer Squibb Films, CBS News/Sports, CNBC, CNN, Court TV, ESPN, MSNBC, NBA2K, Verizon Media and more.
Craig gained notable recognition as Director of Photography and Postproduction Producer for the lifestyle show, Living it up with Patti Labelle. He has provided services as DP/Shooter for Price Waterhouse Coopers, behind the scenes for The Oscars.
Craig McGill has tirelessly worked as director of photography on several revealing documentaries: The Black Line, In their Own Words, and Tribute. Mr. McGill has produced several hundred commercials and promotional videos. Craig has also directed several short films: Somebody Not Me, Sexting and Gangs.
He has traveled worldwide supporting many video, television and film initiatives, including coverage of the Summer Olympics in London, England, where he received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Technical Team (studio).
However, with all the accolades and accomplishments, Craig finds gratification with mentoring and teaching a myriad of individuals the fundamentals of video and film production. Craig’s forte lies in his dedication to discipline, and his commitment to excellence. He maintains a comforting stream of communication and embraces a pleasant work environment and experience.
