Craig Shofed is a contemporary artist based out of Trenton, NJ. Mr. Shofed has earned recognition both locally and internationally. Many of his works focus on man-made environments, but go well beyond casual observation. He looks at buildings and other artifacts with and artist’s eye, seeking out patterns, reflections, and colors that transform even mundane structures into works of art. C.a. Shofed’s work has become more abstract as his focus becomes tuned in on patterns and color off of reflected surfaces. His camera has become more of a paintbrush and less a device to capture exacted replicas of scenes of daily life.
