A retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and Veteran, Toni has over 24 years of professional experience as a decorated military leader. She held leadership positions in a variety of Army units, in both deployable units and fixed healthcare facilities, stateside and overseas.
Upon her military retirement, she has held positions in academia as a professor, teaching in her professional specialties of health informatics, health information management, and health information technology. She currently holds graduate degrees in both Health Information Systems and Technology Management, and a Doctorate in Education.
Professionally, she is a member of several associations and organizations, where she volunteers and holds leadership positions at the state and national level. She utilizes her skills in these positions to influence education and curriculum changes and promote the health information profession. She is also a John Maxwell Leadership Certified Team member as a Coach, Speaker, Trainer, and Mentor. Additionally, she spends time volunteering with Women Veteran organizations.
