May generosity be a habit that you emulate from the Lord. God is a giver.
In our selfish American culture, there is a tendency to believe that the more a person has, the better off he is. Not true! The amount of stuff you have doesn’t equate to what kind of person you are! God calls you to not hoard, but to help out by giving yourself to those who are in need. You have the privilege of giving out what God has graciously given to you. Is that amazing or what? God is a giver and He is our example. As Jesus walked this earth, He gave out truth non-stop, He gave of His time He gave love and compassion—and we see the powerful effects of His actions. May you be a giver and in doing so, see lives altered and transformed.
