Sit down and seek God.
One of the best ways you can seek the Lord is to sit in a quiet place and pray. When was the last time you did that, distraction free? If it’s been a while, it’s time to do it again! Only then will you be able to hear His voice rather than just your own.
It’s easy to talk and talk when there are voices all around because you simply have to talk a little louder. But when it comes to listening to the Lord, you need to find a quiet place to do so. This has helped me over the years like crazy. I wake up at what most people would view as an insanely early hour every day so I can get some quiet time with God. This works for me, but you know your situation and when you can steal away and seek God in a quiet place. Make this a habit and don’t use the excuse that you are too busy. No child of God is ever too busy to pray to the Lord. This is how our relationship with Him fosters and grows!
