Have faith and forget the past.
As you place present faith in the Lord Jesus, your sordid past grows dim and God’s glorious future for you becomes clear. You may not be able to forget everything in the past but give what has happened to the Lord and He can bring freedom to your heart. You have had hard times, but there is healing. You have had difficult seasons, but God can set you free. You have gone through insufferable storms, but God can settle your heart and give you peace no matter what. If those memories keep trying to infiltrate your soul, pray, give it to God, and repeat. The past can be used by the enemy to dishearten you, but God can use it to remind you of His faithfulness right now. Breathe easy and give
