What is DBS? Discovery Bible Study is an inductive method in which participants learn what the scripture reveals about God and about people. Obedience to the passage is stressed as they discuss what it will take to obey the passage – and through their earlier reports on how well they did in living it out the previous week. Each week, each participant is asked to share either the lesson or the method with others. The results are shared with the group each week. Rapid practice and sharing is the key to reproduction.
