Dr Young explains  what  Body Hair Transplants are, when they are used, who it is for, and how it's performed.

With the limited donor capacity of the Safe Donor Area, we need to find more donor follicles. 
With the average donor only having about 6000 follicles to use in a lifetime, some patients need more hairs.
Some areas that are considered as secondary donor areas-

• Beard
• Chest
• Abdomen
• and Arms.

Patient indications-

• Usually when a patient has had a few hair transplants especially when these patients have progressive hair loss, or are just at presentation a Norwood 6 or 7, 
• beard restoration
• eyebrow restoration
• scarring.

The procedure is a low yield a high skill session, or sessions.
These areas need to optimal, and Dr Young uses his skill technology, and experience.
