In collaboration with CAPSI and ICISSM, and Securitylinkindia as Media Partner
These are challenging times. In India businesses are cost cutting. Security is emerging as one of the first groups to bear the brunt of austerity practices.
Agencies are being asked to withdraw security officers. A rough estimate from security experts suggests approximately 60% or perhaps more security services have been downsized. Yet the Union Home Ministry had asked private security agencies not to lay off guards or deduct their salaries lockdown period announced to combat coronavirus. Since the lockdown has now further extended and the number of positive cases of Covid19 is ever increasing, it is uncertain what the near future looks – especially for small companies – and for the 9 million people who work as Security Guards in India. There are predictions of unrest, there are possibilities of conflict. In this webinar we will address:
What is the likely fate of the 9 million security personnel in India?
What is the route to supporting business in these troubled times and once life normalises?
What are the best practices that can be followed, what can be learned from what is happening globally?
