Guest Bio: Amani Austin
Amani Austin is the founder of Austin Advocates With LLC, a Black and woman-owned equitable evaluation consulting business. She has over ten years of research and data experience and fifteen years of youth development and non profit experience. Amani specializes in engaging with research and evaluation for and with communities of color using a strength-based wellness approach that provides ongoing opportunities for feedback to cultivate trust and progress in a measurable format for accountability.
In her lifetime, she has been a program participant, program director, education researcher, program evaluator/consultant, and board member, giving her a nuanced perspective on many of the intersections of navigating space and influence as a woman of color. Amani relies on her community cultural wealth, as described by T.J.
