I am Lillian Agbeyegbe, presenter of "The Diaspora Dialogue Series with LA."
I am a Nigerian-American and I have been in the diaspora for over two decades. During this time, I have come to realize that our experiences as an immigrant aren’t fully heard. We are often considered "one and the same" with people transferring the experiences of the one member of the diaspora they have engaged with to others. Yet, we are all different, and so are our experiences.
On this platform, we get to share our UNIQUE stories- whether it’s about adapting to new cultures, overcoming challenges, or connecting with others. We hope to beautify our lived experiences as members of the global community with our diverse experiences.
