Blessed greetings everyone and welcome back to another episode of Tuesday Tune-up with Pastor Shirley Johnson. I have enjoyed a victoriously exhausting week, so I am excited to wind down a bit with all of you. God has been doing such a mighty work in so many of us through this Identity Christ-See series—teaching us how to view ourselves properly—through the lens of Christ.Satan will always challenge our identities—he wants us to have an identity crisis so that he can create for us a flawed identity. He attempted to challenge Jesus’ identity through Sonship using hunger and Jeremiah’s identity through youth using fear. In today’s lesson, we will meet a group of friends, whose identity was challenged through lineage using culture—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, so before we get fired up, let’s get tuned up in the Word of God together.Scriptural Text(s): Daniel 3:8-30
