Having the heart in the right place doesn’t necessarily make you a great leader.
In this episode I share what a TERRIBLE leader I used to be, and what I have learned from it.
Let’s talk about the real consequences of being a subpar clinical director, manager or clinical owner, and the effect you have on your employees and the business.
As an employee you need to be able to identify bad management so you can decide if you really want to stay, and if you’re looking for a new job, how do you make sure you choose one where management really fulfils their role.
Bad management is one of the causes of burnout in vet med, and we need to face it so we can make the necessary changes, on both sides of the issue.
Tune in to hear my take and advise for both leaders and employees, based on my experience from both sides both as a vet and as a coach.
