Jan Johnsen is a principal of Johnsen Landscapes & Pools in Westchester County, New York and is an admired landscape designer and author. She was the 2019 recipient of the prestigious ‘Award of Distinction’ from the Association of Professional Landscape Designers.

Jan taught at Columbia University for many years and still teaches at the New York Botanical Garden where she was named “Instructor of the Year”.
