The conversation centered around the series of housing policy announcements from the Biden Administration in advance of the Presidential debate, and what is likely to be discussed related to housing.
The group also talked about Friday’s big inflation data release, home prices being up 47% nationally since the start of the pandemic, and Freddie Mac being green lighted to start buying second mortgages from lenders and if this could be the start of consumer direct efforts from the GSE’s.
