The call finally comes, but it arrives at the worst possible time. I’ve dreamed about going on a mission trip for years, imagining the people I’d meet and the chance to share God’s love, yet when the door actually opened I wasn’t jumping up and down. I was calculating, worrying, and quietly hoping the deadline would pass.
