Kristal and Kate introduce themselves and the podcast. They discuss their journeys into the metaphysical world and into friendship with each other and the birth of Witching Out Loud.
They discuss their definitions of magic; the science of magic as well as the art of it as well as the separation of magic from science, which used to be Alchemy. The value of knowing that things can be different and how to achieve it through magic keeps us oriented.
Next they dive into their respective magical practices; how they developed their practices and how their practices are evolving.
They wrap up the episode with a discussion of what it means to be a witch and what is the responsibility of a person who’s aware of the ways witches are.
