Welcome to this episode of Make Space: Small Beginnings with Sara. Today, we’re talking about the heart of decluttering—not just our physical spaces but the spiritual and emotional room God wants us to make for His work in our lives. Inspired by Genesis 26:22, where Isaac finds "open space" and recognizes God’s provision, this episode dives into how releasing what no longer serves us can help us thrive.

Anchor Scriptures: Genesis 26:22 – "At last the Lord has created enough space for us to prosper in this land.” Philippians 1:10 – “For I want you to understand what really matters…”

What I Learned This Week:

  1. Seek God’s Purpose – Start by asking God what He wants to accomplish in your life right now.
  2. Let It Go – As you go through belongings, choose carefully: Throw it away, give it away, sell it, or keep it. Remember, keeping less opens up more space.
  3. Ask for Help – Bring in friends or family to support you. Let decluttering become a community blessing.
  4. Capture the Memories – Take photos of meaningful things before letting them go, and create a memory book to cherish.
  5. Bless Others – Pray that the items you release find new homes where they will continue to be blessings.
  6. Start Small – Just one drawer, one room, one day at a time.

With 55 days left in 2024, imagine what God could do with an uncluttered heart and home as you step into 2025. Listen in as I share practical tips, biblical encouragement, and personal stories about creating room for God's blessings. Let’s make space—physically and spiritually—to thrive in His purpose.

Tune in, and let’s find that “Rehoboth”—the open space where God makes room for us to flourish.
