Linda Sherman (Rethinking Aging Club Founder) and Debbie Howard co-organize the Rethinking Aging Club's Age-Friendly Product Alliance shows.
We have published all of our 2024 Rethinking Aging Club episodes as podcasts and are working on 2023 and 2022. We plan to publish the remaining 70 or so by end first quarter 2025. Episodes are now published soon after they are recorded.
We have added seasons to make these updates easier: 2021-2022 is Season 1; 2023 Season 2; 2024 Season 3; and 2025 Season 4.
Linda has led several multinational subsidiaries in Japan and is focused on healthy longevity in her own life. At 75, she remains active in sports and fitness. She enjoys planning shows and recruiting expert speakers to support the club’s objectives. There is also synergy with her investment and participation in Marine Biology & Environmental Technologies Miracle of the Sea Natural Marine Extract rejuvenation and MBET Health wound care products.
Debbie Howard, founder of Japan Market Resource Network (now The Carter Group - JMRN), helps clients develop agetech products for Japan and Asia. She is a strategist for caregiver-friendly workplaces and the author of two caregiver support books.
The Rethinking Aging Club is a community of professionals sharing the latest in healthy longevity and the diverse needs of aging adults. We support products, services, education, and advocacy for people aged 50+, including their caregivers.
Our two weekly shows are recorded live on Clubhouse. We like Clubhouse for its high-quality audio and live audience interaction. We promote our shows on LinkedIn, where both Debbie and Linda have deep networks of professionals devoted to these topics.
Tuesdays, we record "News for the Ages," discussing the latest news on aging, longevity, and caregiving since May 2022. Thursdays, "Age-Friendly Product Alliance" focuses on products and services, each week covering a different theme since June 2021.
Our themed shows feature CEOs, founders and leaders of global agetech and analog products, addressing needs in the longevity economy such as marketing, fitness, caregiver support, social isolation and end-of-life planning.
Our speakers provide perspectives on these topics. Our discussions are lively, featuring audience questions and comments, and full of valuable content. Expert speakers enjoy the relaxed setting, learn from each other, and often make new professional connections.
Debbie Howard: It's a pleasure to introduce our themed shows from the Rethinking Aging Club Podcast. At 71, I'm an active older adult, like Linda, I embrace life enthusiastically.
We cover product innovations on prevention, fitness, nutrition, vision and hearing, brain health, sleep and fintech. We also explore digital skills, inclusion, long-term healthcare, assisted living and aging in place, physical and occupational therapy, social isolation prevention and caregiver support.
In marketing, we focus on human-centered design, social media, and distribution channels. We start each year with shows featuring exhibitors and pitch competitors from CES (Consumer Electronics Show), highlighting innovations in AgeTech.
Join us to stay informed on products and solutions in aging, longevity and caregiving to gain new perspectives in this fast-changing market.
