In James 2:1–7, we are warned against showing favoritism in the body of Christ. Faith in the Lord of glory is incompatible with elevating some while diminishing others based on wealth, appearance, or status. God has chosen the poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of His kingdom. In this episode of Moments of Worship, we are reminded that the cross is the great equalizer—where rich and poor alike stand on level ground—and we are called to reflect Christ by honoring all people without partiality.
