means to fail badly at something, especially when you had a chance to succeed—but made a mistake or messed it up.
Examples:
1- I had a chance to talk to my crush at the party… but I panicked and walked away. I totally blew it.
2- He had the interview of a lifetime, but he showed up unprepared and blew it.
