means to be a little unusual or different from what’s considered normal. An eccentric person has unique habits, ideas, or behaviors that might seem strange or quirky to others—but they’re often interesting or even inspiring!
Examples:
1- Salvador Dalí, the famous artist, was incredibly eccentric. He once walked around with a pet anteater on a leash!
2- The professor at our university was known for being eccentric—he’d start every lecture by playing the violin and telling a joke.
