Toss and turn
If you toss and turn, it means you can’t sleep because you keep moving around in bed, usually because of stress, worry, discomfort, or excitement.
Examples:
1- Nina had a big job interview the next morning. She kept tossing and turning all night, going over every possible question they might ask. When she finally fell asleep, her alarm went off.
2- Before their first flight together, Lucía was so excited about the trip to Greece that she barely slept. She tossed and turned in bed, imagining the blue rooftops and white beaches.
