In this episode, Leah and April chat about how blazing our trail can be so difficult that the only way to move forward is to burn some things with different degrees of flames. But the main thing is not letting the fire go out. That takes work! You can connect with Leah on IG @saltlifeandlove and visit her ministry website at http://www.saltlifeandlove.com Leah has a passion for people. She and her husband meet people where they are and organize several community drives throughout the year. They are community service leaders at their church and lead several efforts to minister to people who have experienced hurt and trauma. Their biggest struggle is staying free themselves. They recognize their own struggles and have been intentional about their prayers. They have seen God move on their behalf in a huge way. Leah describes blazing your trail as abiding in God. She discusses how abiding in God changes your desires, changes your prayers, and gives you strategies to burn the debris that is in your way. Leah unpacks the idea that sometimes we need to blaze ourselves. She encourages us to be quiet and still in God's presence. She encourages us to read God's Word, journal, and write down out prayers.
