Have you ever wanted to write a book?  This week Kim introduces you to Julia Kneeland, a published author and retired elementary school teacher from Connecticut who fosters a love of reading in her own family and others. She talks about bribing-er-rewarding her son years ago for reading books when he informed her that he didn't like reading (GASP!) and how her grandkids inspired her to write and are now helping her with her books about Jig the dog. She is a sweet lady and a beautiful example of someone who took her love of books and works to inspire young (and not so young) people not just to read but to take chances in life. The award winning Jig Gets Lost is currently available on Amazon and watch for his next adventure called Jig Goes to the Zoo and who knows where else he will go?
