In this episode, we take a sneak peek into the Book of Jeremiah. Jeremiah is known as the “weeping prophet”. We will explore what that means and learn the specific tasks/messages that The Lord placed upon Jeremiah to carry out. Throughout Scripture, we are warned against the evils of this world and are strongly urged to not partake in any form of idolatry (the worship of idols). Many times God reiterates that He is the one and only God and that our worship belongs to Him. Let’s see what happened in the land of Judah and Jerusalem when they worshipped other “gods” and see how the same worship is still happening in today’s world. What do you find yourself worshipping or idolizing? If it’s anything but God, it’s wrong.
