Today we are joined by author Toby Harnden to talk about his new book "First Casualty: The Untold Story of the CIA Mission to Avenge 9/11."
During the episode, Toby shares some of the stories from the CIA officers who were the first people into Afghanistan immediately following the attacks on 9/11. We talk about his experience writing the book and also about some of his other critically-acclaimed work writing about the British military in Afghanistan and the Troubles in Northern Ireland.
