Description

Lawyer and author Jennifer Weiss-Wolf describes the experience of menopause as entering her “no f%#ks left to give era” and embracing the power many feel in this stage of life. As a public policy expert on reproductive health, she testified at the first congressional hearing dedicated to menopause in Washington, DC on September 16th. Bev and Jonas get the scoop on how she builds support for new legislation from woefully-misinformed congresspeople with patience and pragmatism. Her new book “When in Menopause: A User’s Manual and Citizen’s Guide” comes out on October 6th, and offers multiple paths to advocacy that match individual strengths.
