3. Emotional awareness - knowing that emotions will be there. Anticipating them. Understanding the emotions and how to navigate them. Consider how this decision will affect the morale of your team and organization. Remember to lead with empathy when making difficult decisions.
4. Align tough decisions with your organizations core values, mission & vision - this will foster trust.
5. Communicate the decision clearly and transparently. - communicate how the decision is grounded in the mission & vision. Be open to feedback.
