Shirley was signed to Elektra Records and with a string of hits and gold albums, she received much success in the mainstream music arena. Her hits include Computer Love (with Zapp & Charlie Wilson), As We Lay , In Your Eyes & more. She was re-introduced into the Gospel arena, with her first Stellar Nominated gospel release entitled: Home. Shirley has been featured in stage plays such as Michael Matthew's "Fake Friends", featuring Marvin Sapp, Tyler Perry's "I Know I’ve Been Changed"," Man Of Her Dreams", "3 Ways To Get A Husband", "Your Arms Too Short To Box With God" and more! Stellar and Dove Award nominations came with the release of the SOULFOOD CD, which includes the video for the hit single, I Love Me Better Than That.
