They talk about the ways society views therapy and consider new entry points and invitations into this kind of healing work. If the price of admission has been brokenness, how can we approach therapy with a reimagined sense of wholeness and agency? The temptation to give our power away to those who have a perceived sense of authority makes so much sense and can even feel comforting. The work of healing from a place of inner authority, self-trust, and full agency can lead to more play, creativity, and self-acceptance.
