📍 ABOUT THIS PODCAST:
This wasn’t just hiking — it was a full-blown expedition. We packed our lives into 7kg dry bags, handed them off to porters, and stepped into the humid, muddy heart of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Along the way, we met the man who discovered Son Doong, crossed through isolated villages, and trekked for hours through terrain that only gets tougher from here.
By sunset, we reached Hang En Cave — a jaw-dropping natural cathedral and one of the most remote campsites on Earth. Our tents were waiting for us inside, alongside a glowing underground lake and the kind of peace that only exists far from civilization.
🎒 Logistics, camera gear woes, jungle fails, cultural moments, and one of the most surreal swims of my life — Day 2 had it all.
Tomorrow, we step deeper into the cave system and get one step closer to Son Doong.
