About Julia
Julia's work is a true weaving together of the practical and the subtle. Her professional training and formal education have always revolved around possibility, alchemy, and miracles likely long before she knew it to be so. She has studied psychology alongside an anthropological perspective on religious studies, with a focus on various mystical traditions. She holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, and has training in yoga and meditation facilitation. Her work is as informed by her training as her unique life experiences, which have brought her to depths that continually expand her capacity to see, hold, and be forever in awe of the people she gets to work with.
From a young age, Julia has been moving between worlds, offering her an ability to connect with and understand many different experiences. Her approach to any healing or change is creative, compassionate, relational, and intuitive. In her therapeutic work, she pulls from several different modalities and works primarily with Existential Psychotherapy, Depth Psychology, Emotion-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and ongoing training in energetic and nonverbal healing and communication modalities.
Julia has worked with individuals experiencing eating disorders, disordered eating, suicidality, anxiety, depression, self-harm, major life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, and so much more within the totality of all that life can bring. It is her ultimate intent to support those she works with towards a more peaceful and expansive relationship with themselves and life as a whole.
When she is not working, you will most often find her somewhere between the beach and the mountains, with her dog Saša by her side.
