Greetings, Summit Leaders.

You are here for such a time as this. Your pathway and the good works are ahead of you.

Think for a moment of the person who loves you unconditionally.

The surge of emotion shows the impact that a person has on your life.

Knowing and being assured that you are loved is an empowering emotion that produces three key growth opportunities for us to focus on during this time.

Prepare.
First, the fact that I am loved unconditionally helps me understand that I have a purpose in the world. It motivates me to focus on "personal excellence." I am aware that there are people in the world who need what is uniquely mine to offer. Those you serve include clients, colleagues, family, community, and the nations.

Therefore, I choose to accept my calling and prepare. "I will study and get ready. Perhaps my chance will come." Abraham Lincoln. President Lincoln focused on his character and prepared himself for the opportunity to lead the nation during a time of crisis.
"When your character is built on spiritual and moral foundation, your contagious way of life will influence millions." Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Each of us has a pathway to follow throughout life. Our calling as leaders starts early in life through the unconditional love given to us by the parent, guardian, or friend.
The qualities of "personal excellence" are ours to develop and apply as we pursue our life and career journeys.

Could it be that someone you are leading now, an employee, a mentee, a client, or a colleague is part of your assignment as a leader?
