Greetings, Summit Leaders.
Do you wonder why you are here and what your purpose is as a leader?
People become great leaders as they intentionally seek to find the answers to these two questions.
When studying great leaders' lives, we see that they develop a sense of being called to impact people or a vision for themselves. Usually, the most inspiring leaders seek to improve the lives of others through their gifts, talents, and abilities.
Here are some describing statements about leaders with determination.
* Ezra was a great leader of ancient times who set his heart to study, practice and teach others the fundamental principles that show how to create fruitful lives and enjoy abundant living.
* Daniel purposed in his heart not to pursue customs counter to his vision for his life.
* He set his face like flint to continue on his mission.
* Deborah is one of the most influential women in history. She is known for her wisdom, courage, and determination to do right. She was resolute in her faith and action when others hesitated and changed the course of a nation.
A sense of destiny and calling empowered these people on their journey as leaders. They made up their minds. They felt compelled to a critical mission in their hearts, so they worked diligently to bring about the results they envisioned.
Their lives have a definite purpose, so they set priorities that help them fulfill their calling.
They understand the need to be intentional with their lives. A determined leader inspires confidence and strengthens those around them.
Others will rely on the leader's will in times of struggle to gain confidence and courage to keep going forward.
Sam Walton, the founder of Walmart, is an excellent example of determined leadership. He started with just one store, which grew into over 11,000 stores worldwide and is the second-largest retailer in America.
