Keeping our focus is essential in continually moving forward and growing. Many distractions are clamoring for our attention. How are we to avoid being taken off our pathway?
Focus on your vision and envision you are becoming the leader you see.
Be steadfast, immovable, and always abounding in enthusiasm as you do your work and live your life.
Great leaders prepare and shape themselves by thinking of whom they can become.
Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.
They don't copy the behavior and customs of the world that are counter to their vision.
They are transforming into a new person by changing the way they think.
The transformation of a leader begins with the renewal of our thinking and actions.
Great leaders see themselves continually preparing for the expected fulfillment of their vision.
They expect, anticipate, and prepare for it—their faith-energized mindset fuels personal growth - according to your faith, be it done unto you.
What quality is found repeatedly in the lives of successful leaders?
The answer is faithfulness.

Mr. Lincoln committed to staying the course and growing by doing what was necessary as a leader.

President Lincoln persevered in his leadership and commitment during some challenging times in our nation.
He was steadfast and determined to stay the course. He understood the responsibilities entrusted to him were the ones he had prepared for most of his life.
When we are faith-energized, as Lincoln demonstrates in his personal growth, we expect, anticipate, and prepare for our transformation into the person who impacts their family, business, clients, community, and nation.
Stay the course, and keep the faith!
At the right time, the vision will come.

Here are four actions we can take from President Lincoln's growth plan.
1.) Always give yourself entirely to your work.
2.) Persevere when facing obstacles.
3.) See yourself as a steward of a vision and purpose. Remember that the responsibility of stewards is that one be found trustworthy.
4.) Become transformed by renewing our minds.
