Greeting, Leaders.
Can you recall a time in your life when you took a small step of faith that opened the door to a more significant opportunity in your life?
Think about a seemingly insignificant action you can take that turns into the difference maker in your life.
Do not despise the day of small beginnings.
Why? Frequently, the little things are tests of our faithfulness to our mission and the seeds we plant that produce astounding results.
The key word is adaptability.
Some of us have difficulty handling change when change threatens our goals and dreams.
However, great leaders see change as a springboard to a higher destination. "Life is never static. The only thing we can be sure of is perpetual change." T.J. Watson, Sr.
I recall in my early career experiencing a change in my territory assignments after having worked so hard to establish relationships and build rapport with my current clients.
My first reaction was one of distrust of those making the changes. My second response was fear of losing out on the opportunity with my former clients and not producing results with the new ones.
Through the wise counsel and encouragement of a friend, I recognized that my thinking was affecting my outlook. I refocused and stepped forward into the new territory in faith that with the right perspective, all these changes could work together for my good.
