Greetings, Leaders.
Patience, Perseverance, and Practice are essential attributes for all leaders.
The 3 P's will help us arrive at the right place and the right time. When preparation meets opportunity, we experience the starburst effect of growth, success, and fulfillment. Timing is everything in business and life.
Be patient with your growth, reaching your goals and becoming the leader you envision. Workmanship takes time!
How do we practice patience?
First, we must run with patience the race set before us fixing our eyes on the prize. Ask yourself for what reward am I running? Focusing on the right goal and the purpose enables us to keep going when tempted to quit and give up. Take the time to think it through and write it down.
Write the vision; make it understandable, so he may run who reads it.
For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end--it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
When we have the right attitude we position ourselves to win.
Second, be alert and sensitive to how you respond to people and circumstances.
Have you ever said something or done something in haste only to realize the consequences of repairing a damaged relationship and redoing work is painful and costly?
Hot tempers cause arguments, but patience brings peace.
Perseverance.
Keep going, my friends! When things seem impossible and difficult persevere. Adjust your pace and keep your focus on the prize. Realize that you are running to win not sprinting to finish.
"It's not so important who starts the game but who finishes it."
John Wooden
"Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear, and obstacles vanish." John Quincy Adams
